Modern slavery statement
Kinetic Flow Limited's statement on slavery and human trafficking for the financial year ending 31 March 2027.
Our commitment
Kinetic Flow Limited does not tolerate slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, or human trafficking in our business or our supply chains.
Our turnover is below the £36 million threshold in section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, so this statement is voluntary. We publish it because many of our customers work in sectors where the risk of labour exploitation is higher, and they and their workers should know where we stand.
Our business
Kinetic Flow Limited is a software company registered in England and Wales (company number 17526373), based in Skipton. We provide two online services:
- FullRota, which helps staffing agencies manage their workers, clients and WhatsApp messages.
- KineticFlow, a CRM and leads manager for UK sales teams.
We are a small team and all our work is done in the UK.
Our supply chains
We do not make physical goods. Our main suppliers provide:
- cloud hosting and databases
- messaging services, including the WhatsApp Business Platform from Meta
- email, telephony and other software services
- professional services, such as accountancy and legal advice
- computers and other IT equipment.
Where the risks are
We consider the risk of modern slavery in our own business to be low, because our work is office-based software work done in the UK. We see two areas of higher risk:
- Hardware supply chains. The electronics behind our computers and our hosting providers' data centres rely on manufacturing and mineral supply chains where forced labour has been found.
- Our customers' sectors. FullRota is used by staffing agencies. Temporary and agency work is recognised as a sector with a higher risk of labour exploitation. We do not employ or supply workers ourselves, but our software is used to manage them.
What we do
- We choose established suppliers, and where a supplier publishes its own modern slavery statement we review it before we sign up.
- We will not knowingly provide our services to anyone using them to exploit people, and we will suspend or end the service if we find this is happening.
- Anyone working for us is paid fairly and on time, with written terms.
Our plans for the coming year
- Add a requirement to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 to our customer terms, and anti-slavery terms to new supplier contracts where we can.
- Tell anyone who joins us, including contractors, about the signs of modern slavery and how to report a concern.
- Keep a list of our main suppliers and record which publish a modern slavery statement.
- Record any concerns raised with us and what we did about them.
- Review this statement each year.
Reporting a concern
If you have a concern about slavery or exploitation connected with our business or our customers, email [email protected]. We will treat it in confidence and will not penalise anyone for raising a concern in good faith.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. You can also call the Modern Slavery and Exploitation Helpline on 08000 121 700, at any time.
